THE CASE

Our client was looking for a game that could provide entertainment for his son Jeroen, who suffers from cerebral palsy. Due to Jeroen’s physical disabilities, the game had to be playable with only two buttons.

THE SOLUTION

A two-button game with customizable settings, that allows all types of input systems to be used to play, and that does not requires the player to react within a time limit.

THE RESULT

A platformer with a slingshot movement mechanic that could be used with two buttons, a time-stop mechanic to allowed the player to take their time when making in-game decisions, and an auto-scroll mechanic to help the player navigate the UI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

My reponsibilities as a producer were to make sure the teamwork was flowing properly, to communicate with stakeholders and provide the information they gave to the team, and to lead the marketing aspect of the game.

As a designer, I was responsible for the UI, the level design, and the balancing of the mechanics.
